9th Annual Phone-a-thon Held (2014)
Our 9th Annual Phone-a-Thon was held on March 18 and 19. This year's high school juniors and seniors did an excellent job making phone calls to district parents. Over $3,330 was pledged this year, with all of the funds raised being distributed this June to graduating seniors continuing their education.
Since 2002, we have offered deserving students additional opportunities to help offset the rising costs of a college education. Our program has grown from awarding two $250 scholarships in our first year, to thirty scholarships last year totaling $14,600 thanks to the generous support from parents and people like you. Our scholarships are competitive and awarded to students at all academic levels.
We know that these are difficult times financially for many of us. That makes your donation especially important to our graduating seniors. Even if you don't have a child graduating this year, your support now ensures this program will continue to be available in the coming years.
