APPLICATION PROCESS

• Go to http://northrose-wolcott.dollarsforscholars.org  to make a profile. Or start at the NRWCS website, go to Parents and Student tab and select Dollars for Scholars. It will connect you.

 

• The entire scholarship process is competed online - from creating your profile, applying for scholarships, to accepting awards - it must all be done online.

 

• Our local NR-W Scholarships open February 1,  and close May 1. Applications are accepted online only during that time frame.  References, class rank and GPA and short essay etc. are needed, financial information is not.  However, if you choose to use FastWeb to search for other scholarships you may be eligible for, then financial information will be needed.  We do not use/see your financial information.

 

• Scholarship application is a competitive process.  You may or may not receive an award.  Therefore, it is in your best interest to complete ALL sections until computer shows you as 100% complete.  If you choose to not complete a section (other than financial), your overall total score may be lowered. 

 

• Use the SUPPORT tab if you have questions when you are working on your profile/applications.

 

• To apply for our scholarships that you are eligible for, you must use the SUBMIT button.

 

• All communication is done through email. Please make sure you use a personal (preferably not a school email) account you check daily. Update email if you change it.

 

• Ask the high school principal if you need a computer to work on.

 

• Scholarship Awards are given out at the awards night in June. Recipients need to accept their awards online by mid-July. If not accepted online by the deadline, no award can be made.  Checks are made payable to both the student and college attending.
